“I wouldn’t change a thing about this course. It was ten times better than I expected it to be. The instructor was incredibly informative and kept things fun. I’ve played with software for a couple of years and thought I got most of the basics down but I definitely was wrong. Great course! I would definitely recommend this course to anybody wanting to learn the production side of music. It was incredibly helpful and left me inspired to make tracks 24/7.” Kristina Bialkowski

The instructors were varied in their careers & producing styles, making for well-rounded instruction. The instructors were fun to engage with and were interested in building the students and our experiences. “I took this course to build a stable foundation in Ableton. What I got was not only a foundation but and incredible amount of knowledge that surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to take that next progression from DJ’n to producing. I now have the full confidence to open up Ableton and make a full blown production from scratch. I have Garnish and their awesome teachers to thank for that!” Corey Aguilar

“Great hands-on training to get you feeling confident about performing” Alyse Ferrar

“I’ve been producing music for almost 10 years now. I’ve produced songs for my band and other people, but for whatever reason, I couldn’t get past a certain hump. I knew I needed to get better. Sifting through most of the bullsh*t on Youtube wasn’t cutting it for me. I don’t think I could sit through 1 more tutorial. I took the Garnish class and it opened up my eyes to the fundamentals of production. I was always trying to work at a 10 when I skipped steps 4 through 8. I finally learned how to control and manipulate the synths I’ve been using for years and not sit there in frustration. I can’t count the number of times I tried to record an amazing idea in my head  and walked away after an hour cause it’s not translating with the presets I have, and didn’t know how to change them to how I wanted. Now I do! I’ll be back for the mixing class for sure!” J-Dog from Hollywood Undead

“I learned way too much good things, my sound improved so much and Darryl is the coolest dude I’ve ever met” Diego Pineda

“The SMP course is a good time and super informative. I’ve been writing and producing music for the past year in Logic. There was so much I wanted to transcribe from my mind to my DAW, I just didn’t fully know how. Fortunately, the SMP course changed that in just a few short weeks. Very exciting. Not to mention the Garnish LA folks are super cool.” Patricia Seely

“Darryl the teacher is awesome, his enthusiasm and knowledge makes the class a blast while taking in tons of useful tips/techniques.” DJ Sep

“The course was very helpful to me to gain a better understanding of the specifics of how to make my mixes better. Explaining specific concepts about compression, reverb, delays, EQ, etc. that I never really had a good grasp of before.”

“At last I have a clear perspective of how mixing and mastering works!” Andrez Alzate

“Sharing and learning from a legendary Producer/Engineer is priceless and incredible.” Pablo Toscano

“I won’t change anything. I learned and enjoyed a lot! Good location and neighborhood, nice people and easy parking.” Mono Villa

“This kind of material and skill needs to be well TAUGHT. The instructors, Pete and Dan, were excellent teachers and mentors. They are very passionate about the craft – and are extremely knowledgeable as well as experienced. But they also are very good at articulating the lessons and passing along that wisdom so we can learn… The course was an excellent mix of discussion as well as hands-on training. The instructors also set an exceptional tone for our classroom and created an environment that was motivating and optimal for learning. Great job!!” Alan G

“I wanted to thank you once again for the great night yesterday! Thank you for the unbelievable chance to play in such a good and big place as Exchange Club and for the chance to feel amazing emotions Djing! I hope you liked it and were glad about my set. I appreciate your help and support during the night! I had really good time! Your school and particularly Dj class are fantastic!” Eugene Kirillov

“Along with the other courses taken, Pro Tools was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my musical career. As a musician, I’ve been making records in big studios over the years, but I felt it was time to get my hands dirty with the other side of the craft at the board and daw. The courses at Garnish are a no frills straight to the point Spartan style approach to educating anyone from a novice as myself to even something new to the seasoned user. I went from someone who only stared at Pro Tools from afar in recording studios to someone capable of successfully operating the daw on my own.” Andrew Markuszewski

“I never thought I could learn so much so effectively in such a short amount of time.” Les Correa

“Garnish mix classes helped me the strengthen and expand my knowledge in mixing and mastering techniques immensely. With Grammy-winning engineers, what more could you want?!” Bernardo Passarinho

“An exceptional course that dispels any enigma to the art of engineering a great record. Whether in a large or small studio and with the knowledge gained over only six sessions, I can confidently go into any studio and choose the right tools and techniques to get the job done. This course will teach you the real world techniques so you start the recording process on the right path while preventing any costly repair to your tracks in the later stages of production.” Andrew Markuszewski

“The course is really straight forward and the instructor is the coolest ever ! he can answer any answer that you wanna know about Djaying. tell him how you wanna mix, he will show you easily.” Shark Titan

“Everything was great. Can’t think of anything I would change. Jake is knowledgeable and personable. His expertise and time is much appreciated. Thank you!” Mike DeMille

“I found the course very useful at least for me as I didnt have previous experience with Ableton. Jake was always very helpful and attentive to solve and answer any question” Luis Miranda

“Pete and Dan were excellent teachers with well rounded musical knowledge. I felt safe learning from them. I love the concept of Garnish studios. The week long classes are a perfect match for my busy performer’s schedule. I am excited to see this school grow and am already recommending it to friends.” Kevin Yee

“Garnish was a great experience and I applied what I learned immediately and I have already produced two of my own tracks. The first of which was done week two and the other on Six, the difference is night and day and I thought the track I produced in week two at the time was ok, Now looking back and listening to its rudimentary its but now with the additional weeks of learning and absorbing, the difference in quality is astonishing. All in all, I am happy I took the course and I look forward to future courses.” – Christopher Scott

“Each instructor I had was spot on! They were able to answer all the questions I had and some. I would highly recommend Garnish Music school to anyone looking to learn more about electronic music.” Danile Tran

“If you’re looking for in-depth knowledge about electronic music and how to create sounds using 3rd party software through Ableton or Logic then this course will definitely help you! Beginners can follow along but if you’re a more advanced producer, then this will definitely show you more advanced techniques to apply to your productions! Extremely happy I found and attended this course!” DJ WIED

“The instructors (Adam and Warren) are terrific – They are very attentive to the needs of the students – as well as our individual backgrounds and goals – and that makes the learning more personalized. They are all professionals with diverse expertise and have the industry experience to teach not just the mechanics of the software – but the real-world applications and circumstances. I came to GMP in the hopes of finding teachers who were able to give me a strong exposure not just to the the software (which they did very well) – but also to all the various ways the software is intersecting the other music processes and issues (recording, musicians, writing, industry issues, marketing, etc.). For a detailed software class, GMP offers a very “holistic” experience in which to learn and engage!” Alan Guno

“If you are trying to establish connections with local artists that have made a name for themselves in LA (the instructors) than this is a great program to join. You get to talk with them about their personal experiences and get a lot of really good inside tips about production from a professional point of view. Highly recommended not just to learn but to make industry connections.” Zach Klein

“Great teacher who leaves no stone unturned! After Garnish, I feel that I have the tools to build a strong
foundation and begin a career in the music industry. ” Daniel Cobos

“Its a great school . I didn’t know if I wanted to be more interested in music production and EDM but after Ableton I am totally in and I want to take more classes. Either you are a beginner or know something about Ableton, instructors will explain you very well.” Maria Luisa

“The teachers were AMAZING. I learned so much. The class was small and dedicated and the teachers were great with explaining everything. I am so glad I took the course!” Marisa Johnson

“If any of my friends were interested in producing, I would recommend this course because it cuts all the trial/error, and hours spent online searching for tutorials. Especially for a class like Ableton (versus sound production), the course “goal” per se, was to learn how to use the program. I can confidently say that over these 6-week sessions, I went from barely being able to navigate through the program to being able to apply short cuts and tricks to expedite my production ideas onto Ableton. The faster you get your ideas onto Ableton, the more fun you get to have arranging and completing your track!”  Ken Hilton

“I would recommend your courses to a friend because I felt it was very professional and personal which I appreciate.” Johan Grimberg

“GMP is already doing an amazing job building a reputation of excellent teachers and an exceptional suite of classes and programs. Add to that the individualized attention that students receive – and you get the recipe for very rewarding and valuable classes! Adam was an amazing teacher – and I was honored by the way he shared his wisdom, his technical expertise, and his industry experience – to create a class that was both enlightening and skills-oriented. It was very important for me to learn from a producer who has the expertise to say that they have “been there and done that” – but who is also so generous in imparting those experiences to his students. And along with his impeccable ear and technical precision, these qualities made for a learning experience that I’m sure will continue to be of value for the rest of my career!” Alan G

“I work with some of the biggest music producers in the industry on a daily basis, now I understand how they do what they do.” – Shaun Royer

“Great learning environment. Instructors are very personable and patient.” Lenny Nicholson
