Good areas for getting to the school and evenings out are Hackney, Shoreditch, Camden and Islington (inc. Angel). Less expensive, but still recommended are Aldgate East, Whitechapel, Stepney Green, Mile End, Clapton, Finsbury Park and Stratford.
